Here's your chance to get your very own realistic kobold head mask base! Perfect for fursuits, renfaire costumes, LARPing, Halloween, and more! Please note that you will need to have some basic modelmaking skills to turn this into a fully finished dragon head - lots of sanding, filling, and painting will be required to finish the raw printed parts.

The kobold head has a snout that is about 4cm shorter than the dragon head base.

SHIPPING TIMES

These heads are MADE TO ORDER, and may take longer depending on how many orders I have on at the moment! They take roughly 1 week to print all of the parts for one head, so please be patient! It may be a few weeks before your head ships, but once ordered, I will let you know your place in the queue and your estimated dispatch time.

MATERIALS AND FINISHING

The base and horns are printed in a strong PLA filament, and the teeth, tongue, eyes, and nose horn are printed in a durable, high-detail ABS-like resin. The ears are printed in a flexible TPU filament to add some wiggle/floppiness.

The PLA prints (head base and horns) have visible print lines, as is natural with FDM printing. I would HIGHLY recommend using Smooth-On's XTC-3D to paint on top of the horn base to quickly and easily smooth out the surface, ready for painting. Otherwise, you will need to sand, fill, and fix up the horns to hide the printer lines (which again, are very visible). If you are unsure of how to do this, please email me for more information, and I'd be happy to help!

The resin printed parts (nose horn, eyes, teeth, tongue) are a very high resolution, so they capture lots of detail and need minimal clean up. However, these pieces are hollow, and you may need to sand and fill any holes and printer marks that are natural during the 3D printing process.

HEAD KIT OPTIONS:

Basic Kit: head base, upper and lower teeth, tongue, sculpted eye blanks with acrylic domes

Basic Kit with Ears: same as above, but with TPU ears included
Standard Kit: head base, upper and lower teeth, tongue, horns, nose horn, sculpted eye blanks with acrylic domes
Complete Kit: head base, upper and lower teeth, tongue, horns, nose horn, sculpted eye blanks with acrylic domes, TPU ears

HORNS:

Choose between crooked or smooth horns for the Standard and Complete Kits.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

None of the kits include head straps or elastic for the jaw. You will need to source and attach these yourself. The bolts for the jaw and for the horns are included in the respective kits. The horns are removable with M5 bolts, so it means you can take them off for travelling if you fancy!

If you want a different style horn, please get in touch! I'm happy to make different styles for no extra charge if they are "generic" enough (I'll then add these as options for other buyers).

WEIGHTS:

This head base is quite large with the horns included, and the average weights for each kit are as follows:

Base Only Kit: 415g/0.92 lbs

Basic Kit: 415g/1.3 lbs

Standard Kit: 1020g/2.3 lbs

Complete Kit: 1110g/2.5 lbs

SIZE:

This head measures internally about 25cm tall, and about 16cm wide between the jaw bolt pivots. This should sit in front of your ears. The internal width of the head (where the strap slots are) is about 19cm. This is a slim, snug fit width wise, which makes for a more proportionate head!

Refunds and Returns
I do not accept any returns or exchanges. Any deposit and paid amounts are 100% non-refundable. If in the unlikely event that your item is damaged in transit, I will try to claim back on insurance for the shipped item, and depending on the damage, we will discuss either having you send it back to me to be fixed, or a partial refund. You may be responsible for any shipping charges.

Use your Dragon Appropriately!
My pieces are not toys! If your piece breaks due to over activity, no refund will be provided.

Final Product
As I keep you involved every step of the artistic process, there are no refunds provided if you are unhappy with your final product. It is your job as the customer to provide me with your specific feedback each step of the way so the final product is something we are both proud of.

Colours and Photographs
I try to photograph my pieces to the highest quality, but please note that colours may appear slightly different on different monitors/screens.

The colours of fur/patterns that you choose for your characters online may not always translate 100% into physical furs and pigments. I try my very best to colour match where I can, but please note that the physical world will bring a different spin to your character when I bring them to life!

Reproduction and Rights

I retain all rights to any pieces sculpted, printed, and/or moulded for replication and reuse in future dolls of other commissions. If your character has particularly specific designs, I most likely will not use it again, but for more generic pieces (including but not limited to paws, ears, claws, etc.), these will be added to my own library of parts to possibly be reused again in the future on different dolls and commissions. If you have any issues with this, please let me know ahead of time.

Social Media

I regularly post work in progress photos on my social media accounts - Patreon, Instagram, Bluesky, Tumblr, and Twitter - and I am happy to tag you in them as well. If you do not wish me to post these images, please let me know ahead of time. This also applies to any future social media accounts.

Working area
My products are made in a smoke-free home.

My products are not made in a pet-free home. If this is a major concern to you, especially if you are allergic to cats, please let me know ahead of time.

Customs
You are responsible for any additional customs, import charges, and duties for your country. Please keep this in mind when budgeting for a commission from me, as the fees vary country to country, and are usually determined by the final invoice cost. Refer to your country's import duty fees.
